Drupal installation error: Wrong PHP version

Drupal is written in the programming language PHP. PHP is the most popular server-side language on the Web. PHP has been around for a while, and there are many versions of it. Drupal needs PHP 5.5 or greater.

When you try to install Drupal, you might get an error message about the PHP version. Here’s how to fix it in cPanel.

Log in to cPanel, and go to the Advanced section. Click on PHP Configuration.

Choose version 5.5, and click Update:
